拉贾斯坦邦是印度最大的邦，目前处于人口转变的第二阶段，并以非常缓慢的速度向第三阶段迈进。然而，该邦的人口将在未来一段时间内继续增长。拉贾斯坦邦过去在社会和经济领域的表现不佳。这种不佳表现是贫困、文盲和发展不足共同作用并相互强化的结果。有许多人口和社会经济因素导致人口增长。本文试图借助多元分析，识别导致拉贾斯坦邦人口增长的人口和社会经济变量。
