ICARUS探测器FNAL宇宙射线标记系统的设计与实现

摘要

ICARUS-T600液氩时间投影计数器在Fermilab浅埋位置运行,因而暴露于高通量宇宙射线中,这些射线可能伪造中子子相互作用。开发了覆盖整个 cryostat 约1100平方米的宇宙射线标记(CRT)系统,采用两层嵌入纤维的塑料靛剂片。利用纳秒级时序信息,CRT可区分来自TPC中中子子相互作用产生的向外粒子与来自的宇宙射线。本文概述了CRT系统、其在Fermilab的安装与调试以及性能测试结果。
