软充气材料中弹性与毛细作用的耦合

摘要
我们研究了含有气泡的软固体的弹性性质。与标准多孔材料相反，基体的柔软性使得基体弹性与气泡引入的表面张力力之间产生耦合。通过对模型系统进行适当的实验，我们展示了分散体系的弹性响应如何由两个无量纲参数控制：气体体积分数和一个比较基体弹性与气泡刚度的毛细数。我们还表明，我们的实验结果与通过微观力学方法计算的剪切模量非常吻合。
