外延铁中由带内散射引起的类电导吉尔伯特阻尼

摘要

通过实验确认吉尔伯特阻尼的起源数十年来一直是一项挑战,即便对简单铁磁金属也是如此。在本快报中,我们通过实验确定了在外延纯铁薄膜中随电子散射减弱而增强的吉尔伯特阻尼。这种类电导阻尼的观察结果无法用经典涡流损耗解释,且与带内散射导致吉尔伯特阻尼的理论预测在定量上高度吻合。我们的结果解决了关于基本阻尼机制的长久疑问,并为设计用于低温自旋电子学和量子器件的低损耗磁性金属提供了线索。
