激光系统设计比较:BECCAL航天系统与地面测试台

摘要
我们展示了为国际空间站(ISS)上众多量子技术实验设计的激光系统,特别是双物种87Rb和41K玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚体。展示了飞行模型(FM)和基于商业现货(COTS)的模型,两者在功能上均满足BECCAL要求,但在尺寸、重量和功耗(SWaP)及环境要求方面存在差异。讨论了两者的能力并进行了比较。BECCAL的飞行模型采用专为开发和资质的定制组件,构建紧凑且稳健的系统,适合在ISS上进行长期远程操作。该系统基于ECDL-MOPA激光器和采用Zerodur制造的自由空间光台,以及商业光纤组件。而COTS-based系统则完全采用商业部件,构建功能等效的实验室操作系统,无需严格的SWaP和环境限制。
