摘要
嵌入式移动平台中的图形处理单元（GPU）正达到可用于计算机视觉应用的性能水平。我们比较了移动设备的两代嵌入式 GPU 在运行最先进的特征检测算法（即 Harris-Hessian/FREAK）时的表现。我们在 Sony Xperia Z3 和 Sony Xperia XZ 移动设备上比较了架构差异、执行时间、温度和频率。我们的结果表明，其性能很快将足以满足实时特征检测，GPU 没有温度问题，并且对大工作组大小的支持十分重要。
