比较建模三元十方准晶原子结构的不同方法

摘要
研究表明，采用单一十方原始瓦片的覆盖方法可以转化为六边形、船形和星形铺贴。特别地，研究了 Cockayne 和 Widom 最近提出的原子装饰作为十方相的结构模型。其中，由于装饰的特定奇异性，与原始瓦片方法出现了冲突。将上述模型与最近的实验图像进行比较，实验图像强烈支持其主要特征，但与竞争的结构提议相矛盾。讨论了对稳定化机制的启示。
