W. M. Stacey 在《等离子体边缘的旋转速度与径向电场》[Contrib. Plasma Phys. 46, (2006)] 中提出的计算存在对静电势处理不一致的问题。通过比较与径向静电场相关的势表达式和与极向静电场相关的势表达式，可以揭示这种不一致性。场论视角表明，在基于中性导电流体物理的模型中，静电场必须为零。
