Pastore 等人的文章提出了一种有趣且潜在有用的途径，将量子蒙特卡洛技术推广用于处理核电磁响应，但其中包含了对 y-标度不正确且具有误导性的讨论。与横向极化虚光子的相互作用响应，受到非标度过程的显著贡献，其中动量转移由两个核子分担。由此可知，与作者所述相反，横向通道中的 y-标度是偶然的。
