在最近一篇题为“The capacity of the Hopfield model”的论文中，J. Feng 和 B. Tirozzi 声称证明了关于存储容量的严格结果，但这些结果与副本方法的预测相矛盾。我们表明他们的结果是错误的，并且他们的方法，即使修正了最严重的错误，也无法给出任何数学上严格的结果。
