预测了随着温度降低，由费米面引起的漫散射强度峰分裂消失（即强度极大值合并）的可能性。其潜在机制是自能和相互作用的倒空间曲率的补偿。该理论也描述了先前在具有竞争相互作用的两个低维模型中获得的类似结果。这种合并与最近在 Pt-V 中观察到的“热”分裂进行了比较，后者可以用相同的方式解释。
