固态核径迹探测器用于稀有事件搜索的标定

摘要

对CERN-LHC上MoEDAL实验的CR39和Makrofol核径迹探测器进行了标定,通过将探测器箔片堆叠暴露于能量范围从340 MeV/核子到150 GeV/核子的重离子束。化学蚀刻后,使用自动和手动光学显微镜测量蚀刻坑锥的底面积和长度。探测器的响应,即径迹蚀刻率与体蚀刻率之比,在从CR39和Makrofol各自的阈值Z/β≈7和≈50一直到Z/β≈92的范围内被确定。
