塑料核径迹探测器的体蚀刻速率测量与校准

摘要

利用158 A GeV的Pb (82+)和In (49+)离子获得了CR39和Makrofol核径迹探测器的新校准;开发了一种同时使用锥体高度和基底直径测量来确定体蚀刻速率的新方法。基于蚀刻坑基底面积测量的CR39电荷分辨率足以识别7 <= Z/beta <= 49区间内的核碎片。对于CR39,探测阈值在REL~50 MeV cm^2/g处,对应于Z/beta~7的核碎片。暴露于Pb (82+)离子的Makrofol薄膜的基底锥面积分布首次显示了所有Z > 50的核碎片峰;蚀刻锥体高度的分布显示了Z/beta = 78 - 83(电荷拾取)的清晰分离的单个峰。Makrofol的探测阈值在REL 2700 MeV cm^2/g处,对应于Z/beta~50的核碎片。
