BLASTbus 电子学:用于平流层气球实验的通用读出与控制

摘要

我们介绍了第二代 BLASTbus 电子学系统。该系统的主要目的是用于平流层气球望远镜的探测器读出、姿态控制和低温设备管理。中子嬗变掺杂锗 (NTD-Ge) 辐射热测量计的读出需要低噪声和数百个模拟信号的并行采集。控制望远镜的姿态需要能够 interfacing 各种传感器和电机,并将它们在一个快速的闭环中协同使用。为了实现这些不同的目标,BLASTbus 系统采用了灵活的主板 - 子板架构。可编程主板配备了一个数字信号处理器 (DSP) 和一个现场可编程门阵列 (FPGA),以及三个子板插槽。子板提供与外部世界的接口,包括用于模数转换的版本和光隔离数字输入/输出版本。凭借该设计所提供的多功能性,BLASTbus 还可用于低温、测温和电源系统。为了将一切紧密联系的精确时序控制,该系统以完全同步的方式运行。BLASTbus 电子学已成功部署于南极,并在平流层气球上进行了飞行测试。
