来自局部 SU(2) 水平对称性的双最大 neutrino 混合

摘要

在右手带电夸克转化非平凡的情况下,局部 SU(2)_H 水平对称性要求至少存在两个右手中微子,其质量约为水平对称性破缺尺度。若引入第三只右手中微子以满足夸克-夸克对称性,则其未受水平对称性保护,质量为普朗克尺度,脱离低能物理。 resulting seesaw mechanism with two right handed neutrinos in combination with the horizontal symmetry leads naturally to a near bimaximal pattern for the neutrino mixing with an inverted mass hierarchy and is compatible with all data. It predicts a correlation between the solar mixing angle and U_{e3}, that is testable in the proposed long baseline experiments.
