获取英国 COVID-19 地区感染人数的最新信息，受到有 COVID-19 症状者阳性检测结果的报告滞后所阻碍。在英国，针对出现症状的“第二支柱”拭子检测，结果汇总最多需要五天。我们利用报告不足过程随时间的稳定性，提出一个统计时间模型，该模型在部分计数信息到达时推断最终总计数。我们采用贝叶斯方法，对参数提供主观先验，并对感染计数的潜在强度过程采用层次结构。这产生了一个平滑的时间序列表示，现在cast预期的每日阳性检测数及不确定性带，可用于辅助决策。推断使用序贯蒙特卡洛执行。
