在 IceCube 中相互作用的 1 TeV 以上的大气和天体物理中微子

摘要

冰立方中微子天文台主要设计用于搜寻遥远天体物理源产生的高能(TeV--PeV)中微子。最近,一项对在仪器体积内相互作用的 100\gtrsim 100~TeV 中微子的搜寻提供了此类中微子各向同性通量的证据。在较低能量下,IceCube 收集了大量来自宇宙线空气簇射中介子弱衰变的中微子。我们在此展示了对 2010--2012 年期间 641 天数据中,在 IceCube 仪器体积内能量介于 1~TeV 和 1~PeV 之间的中微子相互作用的搜寻结果,首次将来自南方天空的中微子能量阈值降低到 10 TeV 以下,远低于先前高能分析的能量阈值。在南方天空,天体物理中微子在 10 TeV 以下仍占主导地位。从这些数据中,我们得出了对弥漫天体物理中微子能谱的新约束,Φν=2.060.3+0.4×1018(Eν/105GeV)2.46±0.12GeV1cm2sr1s1\Phi_{\nu} = 2.06^{+0.4}_{-0.3} \times 10^{-18} \left({E_{\nu}}/{10^5 \,\, \rm{GeV}} \right)^{-2.46 \pm 0.12} {\rm {GeV^{-1} \, cm^{-2} \, sr^{-1} \, s^{-1}} } ,以及对大气中粲介子衰变产生的中微子通量的最强上限,在 90\% 置信度下为先前 IceCube 结果所用基准理论预测值的 1.52 倍。
