生日悖论在高性能计算中的出现

摘要
我们对两个高性能计算问题——处理器缓存映射与网络端口映射——给出基本的统计分析。在这两种情形下，我们发现正如生日悖论那样，随机分配会导致比先验预期更频繁的重合。由于这些重合对应于对有限资源的争用，该现象对性能具有重要后果。
