沙子中静摩擦力的反常密度依赖性

摘要
我们实验测量了浸没在干沙中的玻璃棒表面的静摩擦力。我们观察到对颗粒堆积的紧密程度极其敏感。颗粒密度的线性增加导致摩擦力呈指数增长。我们还报告了在逐渐拔出棒的过程中的一种新颖的周期性。我们的观察证明了颗粒桥和拱在颗粒堆积的宏观性质中的核心作用。
