我们研究了砖块铺砌（brane tilings）的定向折叠（orientifold）。我们阐明了 D5-膜荷的守恒如何保证规范反常与 Witten 反常的抵消。我们还讨论了砖块铺砌与作为规范理论模空间实现的卡拉比 - 丘锥（Calabi-Yau cones）对偶之间的关系。提出了砖块铺砌中两种类型的味 D5-膜及其对应的基本夸克场超势，并表明这些夸克在模空间中的无质量 locus 正确地重现了与五膜系统对偶的卡拉比 - 丘锥中味 D7-膜的世界体。
