存在许多模型来描述 single photoelectron response of single photon counting photomultipliers。通常用于描述 fully 被放大 primary photoelectron peak 与 electronics pedestal 之间 spectral region 的 ad hoc function (常为指数修正正态分布),将该 region 归因于 "noise"。本文遵循 A.
