时分辨 X 射线吸收光谱(tr-XAS)已被证明是探索非平衡动力学的多功能测量技术。新兴的 X 射线自由电子激光(XFEL)设施如欧洲 XFEL 提供了通过脉冲模式实现的高重复速率 stroboscopic XAS 实验,使其能够实现最高 4.5 MHz 的测量。这种更高的重复速率导致更高的数据获取速率,但也可能引入在每个脉冲期间持续存在并累积的长期激发效应。本文报告了在 Ni 和 NiO 薄膜样品中观察到的长期效应,这些样品在欧洲 XFEL 进行测量。我们将长期激发效应与初始泵激发变化分离,并进行基于模型的详细分析,阐明其如何修改瞬态 X 射线光谱。结果表明,Ni 中的长期效应与局部温度升高有关,而 NiO 中的效应则与通过极化子形成导致的激发载流子捕获有关。此外,我们提出可能的校正方法,并讨论如何在未来的时分辨 X 射线吸收光谱测量中最小化这些长期激发效应。
