本文为一门半年长的本科生课程编写，涵盖理想、模块、代数和多项式的基本性质，环扩张和有限域的构造，一些数论应用（如二次互反律证明和Jacobsthal的p=x^2+y^2公式），以及Gröbner基和Smith规范型的精华。假设读者熟悉群论和向量空间，虽然但不使用其深入结果。附录中包含200多道练习题（大多数无解答）。
