摘要
我们研究了基于有限个状态构建的离散序列的记忆特性。我们发现，对于建模为任意有限阶马尔可夫链的系统，块熵能够可靠地确定其记忆性。此外，我们提供了一种熵估计器，在存在相关性的情况下仍能给出准确结果。为说明我们的发现，我们计算了不同地点日降水序列的记忆性。我们的结果与现有方法一致，同时在不充分采样 regime 下仍然有效且独立于模型选择。
