大多数职业高尔夫球手和分析师认为，在PGA巡回赛上获胜的巅峰期是球手三十多岁时。与其依赖有根据的猜测，我们实际上可以利用现有的统计数据来确定球手高尔夫竞技状态的巅峰年龄。我们还可以检验年龄影响赢得职业高尔夫锦标赛这一假设。利用从高尔夫频道、PGA巡回赛和LPGA巡回赛获得的数据，我计算并提供了PGA、欧巡赛、冠军巡回赛和LPGA巡回赛的职业球手在五年期间获胜的平均年龄、中位年龄和众数年龄。更具体地说，PGA、欧巡赛、冠军巡回赛和LPGA巡回赛球手获胜巅峰年龄分别为35岁、30岁、52岁和25岁。我进行的回归分析似乎支持我的假设，即年龄影响赢得职业高尔夫锦标赛。
