用于南极望远镜的VLBI接收系统

摘要

事件视界望远镜(EHT)是一项甚长基线干涉测量(VLBI)实验,旨在以接近事件视界尺度的角分辨率观测超大质量黑洞。南极在阵列中占据重要位置,极大地增加了其南北向基线范围,从而提高了分辨率。南极望远镜(SPT)是一台直径10米、毫米波段的望远镜,配备用于宇宙微波背景辐射测辐射热观测的设备。为使SPT能够进行VLBI观测,我们构建了一套适用于南极环境的相干信号链。该双频接收机采用了最先进的SIS混频器,并安装在SPT接收机舱内。VLBI信号链还包括一套记录系统以及锁定至氢脉泽的参考频率发生器。在此我们详细描述SPT VLBI系统的设计,并给出实验室测量与天基观测结果。
