摘要
超大质量黑洞的高分辨率成像如今已成为可能,并在检验广义相对论以及视界尺度吸积与相对论性喷流形成过程方面有了新的应用。在未来十年,事件视界望远镜(EHT)将提议增加在1.3毫米与0.87毫米波长运行的新战略布设VLBI单元。与此同时,下一代后端仪器的发展,结合高通量相关处理架构,将提升灵敏度,使新台站虽收集面积适中仍可改善成像保真度与角分辨率。这些努力的目标是从成像静态视界尺度结构转向捕捉吸积与喷流启动过程的近实时动态重建。
