利用 Borexino 进行的电荷守恒检验

摘要

Borexino 是一个位于 Gran Sasso 国家实验室(LNGS, 意大利)深地下的液体闪烁体探测器。得益于闪烁体无与伦比的放射纯度,以及对低能下探测器响应的透彻理解,我们获得了关于电子衰变为一个中微子和一个单能光子的稳定性的新限制。这一新界限,即 τ>6.6×1028\tau > 6.6 \times 10^{28} 年(90% 置信水平),比之前的界限提高了两个数量级。
