博雷西诺I期的太阳中微子物理

摘要

博雷西诺是安装在意大利格兰萨索国家实验室地下大厅的大型液体闪烁体探测器。经过数年的建设,数据采集于2007年5月开始。博雷西诺I期在约三年的数据采集后结束。博雷西诺首次以优于5%的精度实时测量了7^{7}Be太阳中微子相互作用率,并以1.4%的精度确认了其昼夜不对称性的缺失。仅博雷西诺的这一结果就以超过8.5σ\sigma置信水平排除了太阳中微子振荡参数的LOW区域。结合其他太阳中微子数据,博雷西诺的测量在不假设中微子扇区CPT不变性的情况下,孤立出了中微子振荡的MSW-LMA解。博雷西诺还直接观测到了1.0-1.5 MeV能量范围内的太阳中微子,从而首次直接证明了peppep太阳中微子信号,并给出了迄今为止对CNO太阳中微子通量的最强约束。博雷西诺以3 MeV能量阈值测量了太阳8^{8}B中微子率。
