本文提供了类星体中光学铁发射线区尺寸的新反响映射测量结果，并报告了该组分的一个 tentative 尺寸 - 光度关系。结合低光度源中的延迟测量结果，表明该发射区的尺寸与 H 线相当，至多为其两倍，且具有相似的光度依赖性。这表明类星体中光学铁混合谱线形成的物理机制可能与其他宽发射线相似。
