VPN 树路由猜想指出，对称虚拟专用网络设计 (sVPND) 问题总存在一个最优解，其中所有终端之间的路径构成一棵树。最近，Hurkens、Keijsper 和 Stougie 给出了该猜想在环网这一特殊情况下的证明。他们的证明基于一对对偶线性规划，过程较为复杂。我们提出了一个稍强猜想的简短证明，该证明也可能有助于证明一般网络情形下的 VPN 树路由猜想。
