利用 VERITAS 搜寻 Geminga 高于 100 GeV 的脉冲辐射

我们展示了利用 VERITAS 甚高能伽马射线望远镜阵列对 Geminga 脉冲星 (PSR J0633+1746) 进行 71.6 小时观测的结果。使用源自 XMM-\emph{Newton} 和 \emph{Fermi}-LAT 空间望远镜记录数据的 Geminga 脉冲星计时解,对 2007 年 11 月至 2013 年 2 月期间用 VERITAS 获取的数据进行了相位折叠。未观测到高于 100 GeV 的显著脉冲辐射,我们在 95% 置信水平上报告了高于 135 GeV(光谱分析阈值)的积分流量上限,对于辐射轮廓中的两个主峰,该上限分别为 4.0 s cm 和 1.7 s cm。将这些上限与基于 \emph{Fermi}-LAT 五年数据确定的相位分辨光谱能量分布相结合,限制了 Geminga 脉冲星辐射谱在 50 GeV 以上可能的硬化。
