单个系外彗星的命名法

摘要
随着近期观测技术的进步，系外彗星研究进入了一个新时代：我们已从分析系外彗星特征以确认其真实性质的时期，过渡到详细研究单个系外彗星探测以刻画所观测天体的新纪元。在此背景下，如同其他天体（如系外行星和太阳系小天体）一样，需要一个命名系统来唯一标识任何观测到的系外彗星体。在此，在概述了命名法的目的及其所需特征之后，我们回顾了可纳入命名法的系外彗星信息。最后，我们提出了一个系外彗星命名方案，用于标识已发现或尚未发现的单个系外彗星。文中提供了几个典型系外彗星的命名示例。
