凌星系外行星WASP-7的密度远低于此前测量值

摘要

我们首次展示了凌星系外行星系统WASP-7的高精度测光数据,这些数据通过望远镜散焦技术获得,每点散射为0.68 mmag。我们发现凌星深度更大,且主星比先前认为的更演化。该行星的半径显著更大(1.330 ± 0.093 Rjup 对比 0.915 +0.046 -0.040 Rjup),密度(0.41 ± 0.10 ρjup 对比 1.26 +0.25 -0.21 ρjup)和表面重力(13.4 ± 2.6 m/s² 对比 26.4 +4.4 -4.0 m/s²)则远低于先前测量值。基于修正后的性质,它不再是行星质量-半径和周期-重力图中的异常值。我们还获得了WASP-7系统更精确的凌星历表。
