我们给出两个可数 -范畴结构的例子，其中之一具有有限关系语言，它们的自同态幺半群作为抽象幺半群是同构的，但作为拓扑幺半群则不是——换言之，这些幺半群之间的同构没有一个是同胚。对于同样的两个结构，自同构群和多态克隆是同构的，但并非拓扑同构。特别地，存在一个具有有限关系语言的可数 -范畴结构，它既不能从其自同构群通过一阶互解释（first-order bi-interpretations）重构，也不能从其自同态幺半群通过存在正互解释（existential positive bi-interpretations）重构，也不能从其多态克隆通过本原正互解释（primitive positive bi-interpretations）重构。
