X 射线 Crab 星云的年尺度形貌变化

我们介绍了由 Chandra X 射线望远镜揭示的 Crab 星云年尺度形貌变化。观测在其发射后约 1.7 年间进行，持续 3 年。变化在两个区域清晰可见：环状结构和南部喷流。该环状结构在 1.7 年前一直稳定膨胀，现在看起来似乎收缩。此外，环状结构 northeast 部看到的圆形结构已衰变为多个弧形。另一方面，南部喷流显示出整体扭曲结构的增长。我们讨论了这些变化的本质，依据 pulsar wind nebula (PWN) 机制。
