摘要
众所周知，被更频繁且更长时间报道的新闻话题被认为对公众重要。因此，什么获得媒体关注以及媒体关注如何随时间演变已在传播学中被研究数十年。然而，先前研究受限于少数国家或少数话题，主要由于缺乏纵向全球数据。本工作中，我们使用从196个国家编译的大规模新闻数据，对媒体关注动态提供实证分析。
