水在纳秒内分解降解二维IV族单硫属化合物

摘要

迄今为止,采用类似于制备石墨烯或磷烯的工艺对层状IV族单硫属化合物(与黑磷同构的半导体)进行实验剥离均未成功,仿佛黑磷中所观察到的化学降解在这些单硫属化合物中更为严重。在此,我们通过标准温压条件下的室温Car-Parrinello分子动力学计算,记录了这些材料在十纳秒内对水的高效解离。这些结果表明,必须完全消除湿度才能成功剥离单层,例如可在机械剥离过程中将样品置于疏水溶液中。从另一种材料视角看,这些无需光照即可从水中产生单个氢离子的二维材料,可能在制氢与储氢应用中具有重要意义。
