W 质量及其不确定性：对 LEP 实验中强子最终态建模的研究

摘要
从 1996 年至 2000 年，LEP collider 在约 160 GeV 的中心质能下运行，以克服 W 玻色子对产生的阈值。利用这些数据，我们直接重构得到 W 质量 preliminary 值为 (80.450 ± 0.039) GeV。由于系统性不确定性，尤其是在完全强子衰变通道 W+W- → qq' qq' 中，对强子最终态建模存在歧义，导致该通道不确定性最大。评估和减少这些不确定性的方法是当前四个 LEP 实验的主要关注点。
