摘要

在1997年，每个LEP实验在中心质能为183 GeV处收集了约55万pb的数据。这些数据产生了来自 $e^+e^-$ -> WW 事件样本，用于测量W玻色子质量 $Mw$ 。LEP综合结果，包括在 $\sqrt{s} = 161$ 和172 GeV处的数据，并假设标准模型在W衰变宽度与质量之间的关系，为 $Mw = 80.35 \pm 0.07$ (exp) \pm 0.04 (CR) \pm 0.03 (E_beam) GeV，其中误差分别对应于实验误差、colour-reconnection/Bose-Einstein误差以及LEP束流能量不确定性。
