利用VERA对AGB变星进行VLBI天体测量——半规则变星S Crateris

摘要

我们基于半规则变星S Crateris (S Crt)的年视差,给出了其距离测量结果。利用VERA望远镜独特的双波束系统,我们测量了与S Crt相关的水脉泽斑点的绝对自行,参考了角距为1.23°的类星体J1147-0724。在近两年的观测中,我们在LSR速度为34.7 km s1^{-1}处探测到了该脉泽斑点,并测量出其年视差为2.33±0.13 mas,对应距离为43023+25^{+25}_{-23} pc。该测量精度比HIPPARCOS的视差测量高一个数量级。脉泽斑点的角分布和三维速度场表明存在一个沿东北-西南方向流动轴的双极外流。利用距离和光球温度,我们估算了S Crt的恒星半径,并将其与米拉变星的半径进行了比较。
