在线性Sigma模型中研究了有限温度下的手征相变，该模型被视为带有三动量截断的QCD低能有效理论，研究采用了泛函薛定谔绘景中具有高斯近似的变分方法。结果表明，通过考虑对外场的线性响应，Goldstone定理得以保留，且介子对激发被自动包含。研究指出，手征相变的行为依赖于三动量截断，这导致了对该问题的谨慎处理。
