UY Puppis：一颗新的异常 Z Cam 型矮新星

Z Cam 型星的定义特征是其光变曲线中的停滞期。一些 Z Cam 型星表现出非典型行为，即从停滞期进入爆发期。此前曾有人提出 UY Pup 是一颗 Z Cam 型星，但因其长期光变曲线而被排除。然而，在 2015 年 12 月，UY Pup 进入爆发期，并意外地进入了短暂的停滞期，而非回归宁静态。此外，UY Pup 还表现出额外的异常行为，在其停滞期间探测到了两次爆发。此次停滞之后，UY Pup 短暂 excursion 至宁静态，随后缓慢上升至一个更长且定义明确的停滞期，在此期间它再次进入了另一次爆发。通过对比分析、研究和 UY Pup 的观测数据，可以明显看出并得出结论：它确实是一颗 Z Cam 型星，这使其成为仅有的四颗已知异常 Z Cam 型星之一。
