用 H.E.S.S. 观测核塌缩超新星甚高能伽马射线发射的上限

摘要

具有致密星风前身星的年轻核塌缩超新星可能将宇宙线强子加速至宇宙线谱的膝以上,并可能产生可测量的伽马射线发射。我们搜索了在超新星事件一年内由高能立体系统(H.E.S.S.)观测的十颗超新星的伽马射线发射。九颗超新星是在 2003 年 12 月至 2014 年 12 月间收集的 H.E.S.S. 数据中偶然观测到的,曝光时间从 1.4 小时到 53 小时不等。此外,我们于 2016 年 2 月作为机会目标观测了 SN 2016adj 共 13 小时。未在任何天体上探测到显著的伽马射线发射,并确立了 >1>1 TeV 伽马射线通量量级为 \sim1013^{-13} cm2^{-2}s1^{-1} 的上限,对应于光度范围 \sim2 ×\times 1039^{39} erg s1^{-1}\sim1 ×\times 1042^{42} erg s1^{-1} 的上限。这些值用于对前身星的质量损失率施加依赖于模型的约束,在粒子加速参数合理假设下意味着介于 \sim2 ×105\times 10^{-5}\sim2 ×103\times 10^{-3}M_{\odot}yr1^{-1} 之间的上限。
