CRYRING@ESR电子冷却器的升级与维护以改善内部电子靶运行

摘要

位于GSI-FAIR加速器综合体的CRYRING@ESR储存环的电子冷却器是一种独特的仪器,它不仅为储存的离子提供束流冷却,还作为双电子复合实验的低能电子靶。在电子靶模式下,最小化真空污染和响应快速能量变化是该冷却器的关键要求。因此,我们准备了一个测试台来研究电子枪组件的放气行为,并构建了一个装置来评估冷却器加速电压的漂移电极调制。真空研究表明,电子枪阴极存在严重故障,导致其被更换。与直接调制冷却器终端电压相比,加速电压的漂移电极调制显示出显著改进。
