摘要
我们提议在电子储存环中实验测试增强型光学冷却（EOC）的新构想。该实验将确认束流物理中的新基本过程，并展示该冷却技术带来的独特新可能性。它将开启 EOC 在核物理、基本粒子物理以及基于高亮度电子和离子束的光源（LS）中的重要应用。
