LHC 上 CMS RPC 探测器的均匀性与稳定性

阻性板室(RPCs)在 LHC 的 CMS 实验中用作桶部和端盖的专用触发系统。本说明介绍了 2011 年数据采集期间 RPC 探测器的均匀性和稳定性结果,以及利用 2012 年数据获得的初步结果。通过利用 LHC 对撞进行专用高压扫描,确定了安装在 CMS 中的每个独立 RPC 室的最佳工作电压,从而确保了探测器的均匀性。重点介绍了高压校准的程序和结果。此外,通过自动考虑 CMS 洞室内的温度和大气压变化,提高了探测器的稳定性。
