从地理距离视角理解人工智能领域的团队协作

摘要
本文从地理距离的视角分析了人工智能(AI)领域的团队协作。我们从Microsoft Academic Graph获取了1950—2019年间1,584,175篇AI相关出版物。采用三个基于经纬度的指标，量化了国内与国际层面AI协作随时间的地理距离。结果显示，AI领域的团队协作随时间愈发普遍，2019年约有42,000篇(38.4%)多机构AI出版物。团队协作地理距离的变化表明，国内与国际AI协作的广度与密度均随时间增加。此外，美国产出了数量最多的单一国家及国际协作AI出版物，而中国自2010年后在国际AI协作中发挥了重要作用。
