有人声称“在成像系统中使用纠缠光子可展现出任何其它双光子源都无法模仿的效应，无论两个光子之间的关联有多强”[A. F. Abouraddy, B. E. A. Saleh, A. V. Sergienko, and M. C. Teich, Phys. Rev. Lett. 87, 123602 (2001)]。虽然我们相信所引用的陈述为真，但我们表明该文中提出的、对其中一个光子进行“桶探测(bucket detection)”的方法，对于纠缠态与适当制备的经典关联态会给出完全相同的结果。
