合金中可调的关联无序

摘要
理解无序的作用及其内部存在的关联,是当代材料科学中具有决定性的挑战之一。然而,很少有脱离其他复杂相互作用、可用于系统研究晶格冲突对关联无序影响材料体系。在此,我们报道了对外延稳定合金 广泛的漫散 X 射线散射研究,表明一种由结晶基元优选对称性与其所排布晶格间失配引起的、新型本征可调关联无序。此外,结合掠入射非弹性 X 射线散射与最先进的从头算分子动力学模拟,我们发现强无序-声子耦合。这打破了全局对称性,并相较单纯合金化剧烈抑制声子寿命,为声子工程提供了额外的设计策略。这些发现适用于任何可容纳晶格冲突的场合,并可在未来功能材料开发中加以利用。
